Just chillax...(Daytona Beach pictures)

Hey everyone!

So as I mentioned in my last post, I had just gotten back home from a 12 day vacation to Daytona beach and Disney World!
I will post 2 series of both trips. One series will be photography from the beach, another fun pictures of what we did there. Then, photography from Disney, and fun pictures from there as well!

Today's post will be Daytona photography. That beach was great, they had a boardwalk with some rides, lots of shops full of all the same cheap beach souvenir junk (that I love and bought some of, hahaha) and I just LOVED the vibe of the entire place. I felt soooo relaxed and carefree, and that's one of the best feelings in the world to me. Anyways, here are some pictures.
 Hope you enjoy!

South of the Border!! This was on the road trip there.

Waiting on his parents so he could go swim. Awww =)

Me and my friend Morgan went on this!

Morgan and her dad watching the taffy maker. Cute picture =)

One of my favorites!
 Well, that's all for now!
I'll be working on some youtube videos and my next post, so keep checking back!

My everyday Summer Makeup

So, it's hot and humid outside right? I don't know about you, but I don't want to put on an entire face of makeup that's just going to melt off. So, I adjusted my everyday makeup routine, to one that will survive the summertime. Also, its super fast and easy to create, so if you go swimming and you didn't use waterproof products, but have somewhere to go afterward, you can reapply it in no time.

Now, this does look like a LOT of the "summer pop" makeup tutorials I've seen on youtube, but I honestly have been using this look for forEVER, but didn't get mine up fast enough.

Here we go!

You will need: Peachy or champagne colored shadow, dark brown shadow, your "pop" of color shadow, bronzer and blush, mascara, white eyeliner, and black or brown liner, (liners are optional) and a bright lip color.

Using your (clean!) finger, use the lighter shadow all over the lid, and in inner corners.
Now using your finger again, use the darker shadow on the outer corner.
Apply your "pop" of color underneath the eye, but don't go all the way in. (I just pick a color from my outfit and use one that matches)

Apply the brown or black liner on top lashline, and white eyeliner on bottom. Here I skipped the dark liner and just used white. Apply mascara.
With a big fluffy brush apply bronzer using the e-method on your face, and all over neck and chest. Use the same brush for the blush. (FYI, if you have oily skin, use a translucent powder with a kabki brush before you apply anything on your face. Also, concealer is key if you have dark circles.  I just dab a cream one under my eyes and set it with powder.) Apply your lip color of choice. Here I used covergirl outlast lipstain in a coral color. Can't remember the name.
And there you have a beautiful sun-kissed, summer-tolerant makeup look! Also a little hint: dust translucent powder on your eyelids before applying shadow for extra staying power!

Also, a second easy look. Bronze lids.
Just apply 3 shades: Light gold on inner corners, bronze on lid, and underneath the eye and dark copper on outer corner, and a smudge underneath black liner, mascara and done!

Same face, but I might skip the super bright color and use a light pink shade. Here is that minty covergirl lip gloss in tickled pink. I love those glosses, the colors are great!

I used the 1st, 5th and 7th shadow from the left on this palette. Light champagne color, gold color, and dark brown with gold reflects. This is an elf palette but any shadows will do.

In other news, I just got back home from my trip to Daytona Beach and Disney World!!! I had a FANTASTIC time with my friend Morgan ( Morgan's Blog ) and will be putting up a some pictures from that.

I hope you enjoyed, and I also plan on uploading these looks in a video to youtube!!

Seeya soon!

So yeah, here is the link to my new youtube! There are a couple of videos up already, and I'll try for another one later on. Expect some vacation posts soon!!

Yellow Roses (lack of imagination today) Outfit of the Day 6.10.11

Yeah, sorry about the oh so creative title. I am getting sick, and I'm super tired and kinda out of it. But, I still have enough brain power left to put together this cute outfit using a pretty skirt with yellow roses on it. I couple years ago I was obsessed with all the cute spring skirts they had for only $13 each at T.J. Maxx. I havn't worn them in a while, as I have been obsessed with denim skirts this year. Since I am packing all my denim skirts for Disney world, I am left with all my floral and printed skirts. So look out for more outfits of the day featuring them.

I did my everyday makeup, but with a pop of purple underneath, and some bright pink lips.

Skirt by French Atmosphere (whoever that is xD )
Tank from Forever21
Shoes by Dexter for Rack Room Shoes
All accessories...I don't really know, haha.

Hope you enjoyed!!

One Romper, 6 Styles.

Hey everyone!
I am super duper exited about this post, because a) I worked on it for a while and b) its a new series and it's super awesome.
This series will occur when I find a piece of clothing that is super versatile, and will work with many different styles. I will try and make this happen about once a month. It just depends on when I find pieces that will work.

Look #1 - Glitz and Glam

The first look is making the romper look like a more glamorous outfit. I added nothing but sparkles, sparkles, and more sparkles.

Sparkly bangle, sparkly necklace, and sparkly earrings.

And a sparkly belt. I would wear this look with big glam waves, and a bright shimmery eye using a color, or simple winged liner with a bright color.

Look #2 - Funky vintage/boho kinda of look.

I added a vintage gold belt, some handmade glass feather earrings, funky necklace, stone ring, and tribal bracelets. Oh, and you can't forget the straw fedora with feathers in it!

Look #3 - Urban Funk
Here I kept the gold belt, added a fringe necklace, sparkly leather bracelet, and funky sunglasses.

Can't tell, but I am wearing golden gladiator sandals.

My awesome star earrings!

And the gold ring with white studs.

Look #4 - Glitzy Bohemian

I wore my hair pinned half up. Pretty gold makeup, with maybe green or purple would be pretty. (Any color of choice would)

Chandelier earrings, glitzy bangles, and a gold necklace with unique beads. I also kept that same gold belt, and the gold gladiators.

 Look #5 - Girly!

Flowers, flowers and more flowers!! (with a little sparkle thrown in here and there!) Pink flowered shoes, sparkly flower cocktail ring, flower, pearl, and sparkle statement necklace, purple flower and sparkle bracelet, pink belt, and a pink bow in the hair to top it all off.

I would wear this with soft curls in my hair, and pretty pastel makeup.

This is one of my fave pieces in my jewelry collection. I adore it!

Look #6 - Beachy!

A blue tropical print belt, seashell necklace, flowered hairclip and flower earrings. I also have a pink shell anklet on. And of course, flippy floppys!

That is my dog Bella. She is always wanting attention!
I LOVE the side braid with this look!! Really showcases the earrings and frames the face nicely. A really sun-kissed look, with sheer shimmer and a pop of color on the lids, with pink lips would look great! (Keep an eye out for the tutorial I have on that soon!!)

I know you probably don't want to see my ugly feet, but I realized after I went inside I didn't get a good picture of the anklet.

So those are all the styles I came up with for this romper. I really hope you guys liked this post, and found a styles that suits your personality and inspires you to try it yourself. I would love some more feedback! Please leave a comment!

Seeya next time!!
